YEREVAN (Yerevan News Agency)–The Armenian Relief Cross–the organizational unit of the Armenian Relief Society in Armenia–joined seven other women’s and humanitarian organizations Thursday in endorsing Acting President Robert Kocharian’s presidential bid.
The announcement was also signed by the Women’s Republican Council of Wives and Mothers of Fallen Freedom Fighters–the "Armenian Intellectual Woman" organization–the republic’s Motherhood Fund–the Hostages Defense Fund–"Ghevond Alishan" Apostolic cultural society–Organization in defense of Women’s Rights and Children and Family Interests and "Anna" Women’s Consumer Interests Union.
