YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The European Track and Field Championship events ended in Belgrade Wednesday. Armenia was represented by 32 athletes.
Gyumri resident Armen Mardirossian took first place with 16.75 meters in triple jump–and third place in long jump with 7.56 meters.
Yerevan resident Dadiana Hovhannissian earned fifth place with 12 meters–a record distance for junior Armenia’s. And–Agni Mkrtchian placed 6th in the 400 meter run.
