YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Works worth $9,700,000 will be implemented under the Irrigation rehabilitation Program of 1998 financed by the World Bank–Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture reports. Of this sum $6,000,000 will be spent on rehabilitation of the main and secondary water supplying networks–$3,000,000 on inner water supplying networks and around 500,000 on restoration of water reservoirs.
To date works worth $5,000,000 have been implemented. This includes restoration of main and secondary water supplying networks and 4 water reservoirs.
Major design and research works will be completed this year–the Ministry said.
