YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)– The recent success at the Youth Weightlifting Championships in Spain showed the world once again Armenia’s dominance in the sport.
With the amount of medals won–Armenia took over 1st place in the competition. Four gold–two silver and one bronze medal–was an impressive showing for the Armenian team.
The gold medal winners were Athur Danielian–Dikran Mardirossian–Kevork Tavtian and Armen Ghazarian.
The silver winners were Ara Khatchadrian and Kegham Atoyan. The bronze medal winner was Dikran Kamalian.
