YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The Armenian Foreign Ministry’s spokesman Arsen Gasparian Wednesday denied reports by the Israeli "Ha’aretz" newspaper saying Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian offered Armenia’s mediation in Iran-Israel relations.
In response to Snark news agency’s inquiry Gasparian said that the Armenian Foreign Ministry did not rule out the possibility of such mediation–in the event that either party came to Armenia with such a request.
The mediation bid was also reported by the Itar-Tass news agency and the BBC.
