YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–President Robert Kocharian held a meeting with Head of the Armenia-based office of the UN Children’s Fund Gloria Fernanda. Fernanda informed the Armenian president of the programs implemented by the organization in Armenia. She also informed the president of the coming visit of the head of the UN Children’s Fund to Armenia. During the meeting the sides pointed out the need for coordinating efforts in defending children’s rights.
