GLENDALE–Hamazkaine-Western USA held its Regional Convention on February 23 at the Glendale Hamazkaine Center. Various Hamazkaine representatives from the region chapter’s and affiliates attended.
Edward Misserlian from Hamazkaine’s Central Executive and Mher Tavitian representing the Central Committee of the ARF Western USA were present–as well as honorary guest Hovsep Avakian from Hamazkaine-Eastern USA.
The one-day convention reviewed and subsequently praised the Regional Executive’s activities for the past two years. It also outlined the direction of future Hamazkaine programs.
As its last agenda item–the convention elected the following members to serve on the regional executive: Vahakn Apkarian–chair; Varaztad Markarian–vice chair; Maro Tutelian–secretary; Kevork Bedigian–secretary; Manoug Chukhajian–treasurer; Armen Shamamian–advisor; Markar Mardirossian–advisor
