YEREVAN (Yerkir)–A Strategic Program to promote the export of Armenian products has been drafted by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) in hopes of boosting economic growth in coming years.
According to Ara Nranian–ARF Bureau’s economic advisor–domestic resources in Armenia are very limited and the economy relies mostly on imports.
"We hope to get the government’s approval–and expect a comprehensive program to boost exports would be formulated based on this document," he said.
The proposal for the program was drafted during a one-and-a-half year period and was sent to international and local experts for consideration. It will be submitted to the government in September for approval.
