The Lincy Foundation allocated $400,000 to the Western Prelacy for spiritual and educational projects of the Holy See of Cilicia and also to aid needy Armenian families in Lebanon.
This donation was made in response to a request from His Holiness Aram I–Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia–and is to be appropriated under the direction of His Holiness. The first installment of $100,000 has already been received.
This pledge follows previous endowmen’s by the Lincy Foundation to Armenia and the diaspora. On behalf of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I–the Prelate and the Prelacy Councils thank the Lincy Foundation and the officials of this benevolent organization for their generous donation.
