
YEREVAN (Combined Sources)–The fourth annual Golden Apricot International Film Festival concluded Saturday at Liberty Square with Carla Garapedian’s Screamers taking home the top “Golden Apricot” Award and the director receiving an “Encouragement Award” from the jury.
Vardan Hovhanissyan’s documentary “A Story of a People in War and Peace,” won awards in three categories, while The Parajanov Thaler Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Paolo and Vittorio Taviani of Italy for their adaptation of Antonia Arslan’s Skylark Farm.
The following are the decisions of the five juries of the film festival:
