MOSCOW (ArmRadio)—The recent increase in Azerbaijan’s military budget is alarming to the Collective Security Treaty Organization, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said at a Moscow-hosted international conference.
“The Disproportionate increase of Azerbaijan’s military budget is alarming,” said Bordyuzha, adding that the continued rise in military spending in Baku subjects CSTO member-state Armenia to undue pressure and heightens tensions in the South Caucasus.
Bordyuzha also commented on the destabilizing effect of what he called “anti-Russian hysteria” from Tbilisi and a Georgia’s military rebound from the brief war with Russia in 2008, according to the Interfax News Agency.
“The disposition of Georgian authorities in this region does not contribute to the stability including anti-Russian hysteria and increase of military budget by the support of some Western countries,” Bordyuzha said.

HMMM –
IT IS WERY OBVIOUS THAT THE AZERIS INTEND TO MILITARILY FORCE THEIR WILL UPON SOMEONE,
IT THAT SOMEONE DO NOT VOLUNTARILY GIVE IN TO THEIR DEMAND.
FURTHER –
IF THE SOVJETS AND RUSSIANS VOLUNTARILY LEFT GEORGIA,
IT IS FOOLISHNESS AND IDIOCY TO CHALLENGE THEM BY GEORGIA,
IF THEY PERCEVERE THEY WILL BECOME BIG LOOSERS.
