GLENDALE—On October 16, the Glendale Home Depot held its annual Cashier Olympics. The Cashier Olympics consists of ten district stores competing against each other in customer service contests, such as, “fastest and most accurate” cashier.
In addition to the competitive games, each district store chooses a theme and creates a float consistent with that theme. Considering Glendale is home to the largest Armenian community outside of Armenia, the store chose an Armenian theme complete with traditional Armenian dress, music and closed the evening festivities with a wedding. The Glendale Home Depot would like to thank the Armenian Relief Society for providing the traditional ethnic clothing that made the event a success.
