MOSCOW (Azg/Noyan Tapan)–The Armenian Embassy in Moscow recently underwent a change of staff. Gagik Shahbazian was assigned Ambassador–Vardan Toghanian and Gagik Vardanian were assigned first secretaries. Gagik Gitchian was assigned as first secretary of the consulate.
It is expected that the Ambassador in Germany Felix Mamikonian will soon return to Yerevan. The Embassies in Canada–Great Britain–and China currently operate without Ambassadors. The position of Representative to the United Nations is also vacant–as Alexander Arzoumanian was assigned Foreign Minister of the republic. Armenian Consul General in California Armen Baiburtian has also vacated his position–and is expected to be reassigned.
