
BURBANK—The Burbank Unified School District in partnership with the Armenian National Committee of America, Burbank, will host a College & Career Fair on Saturday, September 22 from 9 a.m. to noon.. The event will take place at Woodbury University located at 7500 Glenoaks Boulevard.
“We are excited to be part of the 16th Annual College,” said Mariya Kupchyan, ANCA Burbank’s Education Committee Chair. “We look forward to assisting families and promoting post-secondary school awareness to the Armenian American community.”
The event is focused on bringing college opportunities to students from colleges and university both in-state and out-of-state. Students can speak with representatives from different college admission officers to learn about campus life, majors and minors, and the admission process of each institution. Attendees will learn and receive materials regarding financial aid, internships, testing, and other essential forms regarding college admission.
“With over 100 educational institutions on one campus, we hope to see many Armenian American families in attendance to take advantage of this amazing opportunity,” added Silva Kechichian, ANCA Burbank-Chair. “We will have an ANCA Burbank table setup with many resources, and translation services on site as well for parents in need of this service.”
