
PASADENA—The Armenian National Committee of America – Pasadena Chapter on May 24 endorsed Lisa Anne Kroese for the Pasadena Unified School District Board of Education seat in District 6 for the November 2024 General Election.
“Ms. Kroese has a firm grasp of the issues afflicting the school district and an understanding of what it would take to remedy the issues of concern for both the district’s children and their parents and those of the Armenian American community whose children attend the district’s schools. Lisa has a keen approach to dealing with and improving those issues,” said ANCA Pasadena Chapter Board Member Maria Ekizian.

A proud resident of Pasadena, Lisa brings a wealth of experience and an enviable track record from her extensive career in public service. Her journey has seen her in pivotal roles across several states, serving as the Director of Operations for the Chair of the Education Committee, Senator Dinnamin, in the Pennsylvania State Senate. Kroese also served as District Director and Regional Representative for then-U.S. Congresswoman from New York Kirsten Gillibrand. She was the Coordinator for Hubbard Hall Projects – Uganda Heritage Roots Collaboration in Cambridge, New York. Kroese was elected to serve as a historian and fundraiser in Don Benito Fundamental School’s PTA, as well as elected to serve as PTA secretary for the PUSD Council.
Kroese has volunteered in various organizations as a troop leader and a lifetime member of Girl Scouts of America and the Tournament of Roses. She has held memberships in the Pasadena Rotary Club, Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, Fiduciary Roundtable of the San Gabriel Valley, and Pasadena Foothill Association of Realtors. Ms. Kroese has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Maryland Institute, College of Art. She is a realtor and project manager for John Mark Real Estate in Pasadena.
Lisa Kroese is prioritizing the students of the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) by improving student outcomes, stabilizing and securing the district’s finances, and ensuring that students are safe, supported, and engaged in the classroom.
Lisa Kroese has devoted much of her life to public service. Kroese is dedicated to continuing her advocacy for those members of the community who need a strong voice who will speak for them in Pasadena Unified.
