
LOS ANGELES—Aranto Productions announced a special Cine-Concert event celebrating the 100th anniversary of Armenfilm, also known as Hayfilm(Հայֆիլմ), Studio one of Armenia’s most cherished cinematic institutions. The event will be held on October 12, at 7 p.m. at the prestigious AGBU Pasadena Performing Arts Center, located at 2495 E. Mountain Street, Pasadena, CA 91104.
As part of this unique celebration, the Cine-Concert will feature the projection of iconic Armenian classical films, showcasing the rich history and cultural impact of Hayfilm Studio over the past century.
Complementing the film projections, the soundtracks of these timeless movies will be performed live by the renowned Aranto Orchestra, under the leadership of conductor Nikolay Poghosyan, delivering an immersive cinematic experience that blends the beauty of film and music.
Hayfilm Studio, founded on April 16, 1923, has been at the forefront of Armenian cinema, producing films that have left a lasting impact on the nation’s cultural heritage.
