YEREVAN (Armenpress) – The Armenian Armed Forces received extensive training on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) recently. The IHL–which is contained in the Geneva Conventions and their respective Additional Protocols–along with the basic principles of the International Red Cross Movemen’s were the topic of a three day seminar in Yerevan. The International Committee of the Red Cross in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense Ministry of the Republic of Armenia organized the workshops for more than 440 officers and soldiers
