Being the last city in Western Armenia’s Cilician Kingdom to remain populated with Armenians, Kessab has great historical significance for Armenians. The recent attacks on Kessab reignited bitter memories of the past, including that of the Armenian genocide, when the town was similarly emptied and its people killed.
Notable donations to the All-Armenian Fund included a one million dram donation from the students and faculty of Yerevan State University and donations from the Armenian Minister of Agriculture and Artsakh’s Prime Minister, who donated their one month’s salaries.
The Hayastan All-Armenian Fund continues to ask people around the world for donations to support the Armenians of Kessab with housing, food, and medicine as they face an uncertain future.
I wonder if the degenerate turkophile freak calling itself ara manoogian will beg Armenian-Americans not to donate to the Kessab project of Armenia Fund similar to how he begs Armenian-Americans not to donate to the annual Armenia Fund Telethon… That is if manoogian is not to busy attacking Artsakh’s representative in Los Angeles in another hotel lobby like he did in November 2013.
Manoogian actually devotes his life trying to convince regular Armenian-Americans to not donate to Armenia Fund! Imagine that, so-called “Armenians” like him protest louder than the terrorist-supporting turkish or azeri regimes of dictators erdigan and aliyev about the fact that Armenians across the world are uniting to provide financial and moral support to Artsakh or to Kessab. But we should expect nothing less from the sick turkophiles at manoogian’s Washington-based, Washington-funded subversive group calling itself “policy forum Armenia”. No wonder during the 2013 Telethon, Russian Armeinan provided more than half of the total donations to Armenia/Artsakh, while Americans barely donated a paltry $2 million. We are seeing the same thing in Kessab, it appears most donations have come from within Armenia.
