STEPANAKERT (Haiastani Hanrapetutiune)–For the first time in history–the armed forces of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic staged joint military exercises in Karabakh–using real combat artilery.
At the conclusion of the exercises–Armenia’s defense minister Serge Sarkisian praised this effort–commending the military combat readiness of the troops from both republics.
