
YEREVAN (Armenpress)–Armenia finished in second place Saturday at the 2007 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Belarus won first place with 137 points, just one point ahead of Armenia.
"Arevik," children and youth pop folk ensemble of the Public Radio of Armenia represented the country at the junior’s contest with their hit song "Dream."
Armenia is the most successful country to reach second place at its debut performance in the contest. Meanwhile, Georgia and Bulgaria finished fourth and seventh respectively while Lithuania finishing at 13th.
