YEREVAN (Azg)–General Director of the Armenian Airlines Yuri Mnatsakanov has been fired.
Lead Legal Analyst of the company Tigran Achoyan said he will be implementing the duties of Acting Director General–but refused to comment on why Mnatsakanov was fired.
Mnatsakanov’s family said he is currently out of the city and the reasons for his leaving the job were purely personal.
Mnatsakanov spent nearly five months in this position. He formerly headed the Armenian branch of the Russian Aeroflot air company. This is already the third change of directors at Armenian Airlines this year.
