LOS ANGELES–Armenian Social Security Minister Razmik Martirosian visited the offices of the ARF Western USA Central Committee on Sunday–May 27. The minister was accompanied by Armenian Consul General to Los Angeles Valeri Mkrtoumian and consular assistant Khachatur Khudikian.
Martirosian was received by ARF Bureau member Dr. Vicken Hovsepian–ARF Central Committee members Vahe Bozoyan–Ara Khanjian–Ani Garikian–and Asbarez/Horizon Executive Director John Kossakian.
Minister Martirosian spoke of the various activities of the social security ministry–touching upon the economic hardships faced by the department. He appreciated the assistance rendered by Diasporan organizations–in particular the efforts of the Armenian Relief Society in providing services to the impoverished and young in Armenia.
