The pavilion entitled “Armenian Wines” will bring together Semina Consulting, Mancho Group, Mets Siunik, Maran, Hin Areni, and Anush winemaking companies. The wines on display will include Armavir Vineyard, Astafyan, Matevosyan Wine, Maran and other brands.
Participation of the Armenian winemakers in the exhibition is sponsored by the Armenian Development Agency and the Industrial Development Fund of Armenia as part of the wine production support strategy.
Prodexpo is a major exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe. A total of 2,300 participants from 63 countries are expected to participate in the expo this year.
According to Armenian Statistical Service, wine production in Armenia rose by 12.3 percent to 6.4 million liters (1.7 mil. gallons) in 2013.
