Armenian boxer Erik Israyelyan (132lb) won a gold medal at the 2022 European Youth Boxing Championship in Bulgaria.
In the final bout, Israyelyan defeated Bulgaria’s Kiril Barisov and earned first place.
Team Armenia’s Ares Hakobyan was also competing at the championship and won silver in the 147lb division.
