YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Armenia’s membership in the Council of Europe is questionable without stable guarantees of democracy; fairly elected authorities and settlement of the Karabakh problem–the chief executive of the Council of Europe Lenni Fisher said–discussing the attitude of the Council of Europe towards Armenia to presidential advisor Paruir Hairikian. Hairikian’s staff reported that the meeting took place in Moscow within the framework of the forum of the Interpaliamentary Union.
