The Armenian Relief Society Maro Chapter hosted a successful bowling fundraiser on March 9 at the Montrose Bowl, during which nearly $7,000 was raised for the Ani Karamardian Scholarship Fund.
Ani Karamardian was one of the founding members of the ARS Maro Chapter, whose passing propelled the creation of the scholarship fund. For the past 12 years, this fund has been instrumental in providing scholarships to students at Mesrobian and Ferrahian schools, institutions that held special significance for Ani.

More than 80 members, their family members, friends and ARS supporters turned out for this unique evening filled with good food, fun, and friendship—all for a meaningful cause.
“This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the enthusiastic participation and generosity of everyone who joined us. We were particularly inspired by the numerous young people in attendance, whose energy and excitement truly elevated the evening,” said ARS Maro Chapter treasurer Anita Altounian.
The Montrose Bowl graciously hosted the event, with its staff going above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
The ARS Maro Chapter executive board offered its heartfelt gratitude to attendees and donors for their continued and steadfast support.
“Your generosity plays a vital role in making education more accessible and paving the way for future generations. Together, we are honoring Ani’s legacy while empowering aspiring students to achieve their dreams!,” said ARS Maro Chapter president Anahid Boghosian in acknowledging the support of the participants.
