SACRAMENTO–In an unprecedented move, the Child Abuse Prevention Center made endorsemen’s in this year’s election, backing California State Assembymember Paul Krekorian for the 43rd Assembly District.
The Center has never before engaged in the political process through direct endorsemen’s of candidates, but given the difficult economic times the State is facing, they have decided to engage in elections through direct candidate endorsemen’s.
"Assemblyman Krekorian has been a leader in our efforts to protect California’s children and keep them safe from abuse and neglect," said CAPC President and CEO Sheila Anderson. "We are very pleased to endorse him."
Based in California, the child abuse prevention center is a national and international training, education, resource and research institute providing direct services for over 140,000 children and training for nearly 90,000 parents, caregivers and professionals each year.
Assemblymember Krekorian is running for the 43rd Assembly District. The District includes the cities of Burbank and Glendale, and the Los Angeles communities of North Hollywood, Valley Glen, Toluca Llake, Los Feliz, Silver Lake and Atwater Village.
