YEREVAN—This year, for Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, the American University of Armenia is highlighting nation-building for Armenia in a campaign titled “The Seeds for Armenia’s Growth Are Planted at AUA.”
Showcasing many of its ambitious students and successful alumni who hail from the diverse regions of Armenia — from Shirak to Syunik and Tavush to Ararat — AUA illustrates how its quality education helps uplift these various communities and collectively propels the country forward.
Celebrating over three decades of accomplishments, and off the heels of its re-accreditation by the WASC Senior College and University Commission, the University has strategically and effectively worked to develop its curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the country.
AUA supports Armenia’s advancement in science, technology, engineering, defense, diplomacy, economics, healthcare, and more, strengthening the country’s ability to position itself as a leader in these fields and ultimately contributing to the development of the nation as a whole. AUA alumni leave a tangible impact in every sector they enter, and through quality higher education, students are able to equip themselves with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to become the future leaders of Armenia.
This year, Giving Tuesday falls on December 3, and with a goal of $50,000, AUA is counting on its community of supporters to join the University by investing in these efforts, which will lend themselves to strategic nation-building for Armenia.
