
GLENDALE—LGBTQ Armenian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Ayline Artin will present an acoustic “story telling” performance at Abril Bookstore. The Music Night event will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 7:30 p.m., at 415 E. Broadway, Glendale, CA 91205. Tickets are $20 and available online or by visiting Abril Bookstore. Ayline Artin was born in Africa and came to the U.S. at the age of one, where she was raised in Canoga Park. In 2017, Artin opened for legendary Kenny Loggins. Other venues she has performed at include: The Troubadour, The El Rey Theater, The Roxy, The Saban Theatre, and The Hotel Cafe. She has organized shows that raised Armenian Genocide awareness. Drawing inspiration from P!nk, Stevie Nicks, Melissa Etheridge, Amy Winehouse and Janis Joplin, Artin released her debut album “Chapters” in 2018 about breaking through life’s challenges with the strength of love and as “a tribute to my wife who illuminates my world.”
Abril Bookstore’s Music Nights are evenings dedicated to music through performance, lectures, meetings with artists, and various other experiences associated with music. Music Nights take place on the last Saturday of each month.
