YEREVAN—A day after an OSCE monitoring mission on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border in Tavush, Azerbaijani forces shelled several villages in the same region on Thursday night.
Shots were fired at the villages of Baghanis, Voskepar, and Koti between 9 and 10 p.m. There were no casualties or loss of military hardware, according to Artsrun Hovhannisyawith no casualties reported.
Hovhannisyan said that Azerbaijani forces primarily targeted military positions, and also used large-caliber rifles. Some homes in the villages sustained minor damages.

The Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office conducted monitoring of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in Tavush on Wednesday, when Armenian officials called special attention to shelling by Azerbaijan of Armenian border villages and road.
The OSCE representatives pledged after that meeting that they would use the information in their report.
At a briefing that followed the monitoring, the OSCE officials were briefed on the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the statistics of ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan.
So why don’t Armenians shell Azeri villages?
That is the only language that Azeri authorities understand.
Because, Maro djan, we are busy shelling their military. The Azeri so-called authorities don’t care about their civilians, so shelling the civilians, apart from being against war rules, a total waste of ammunition.
Basically ignore the OSCE. They are useless. The Only true guarantee of our security from genocide is the Armenian military. Turks do not understand anything else but their their own demise. Be vigilant first and foremost, and be decisive at the next Azeri incursion. Their moral is low. Take advantage. One Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora is the answer.
These pseudo-Turkish Azerbaijanis are a bunch of sadistic imbeciles we are dealing with. They need to be put in their places and in some serious and devastating fashion. They take the defensive posture of the Armenian forces as signs of weakness and that is why they are constantly plotting and shelling. Ever since their humiliating defeat and surrender back in 1994 they have been turned into caged animals with no claws. They keep pouncing and scratching in hopes of freeing themselves from their cages but of course to no avail. I think a proper response to Azerbaijani aggression is a massive retaliation that levels a dozen border villages to the ground and causes major casualties. This is the only way to make them rethink their approach instead of appeasing them. You don’t sit around negotiating table with such animals. You storm into the room with guns blasting!
