Chamlian Armenian School is excited to announce a $15,000 renovation project for the Science Lab which was originally built in 1994. The project, due to be complete for the new academic year, includes the installation of new storage cabinets, a document camera, advanced cordless microscopes, and several state-of-the-art lab tools which will allow students to research, collect and manipulate scientific data more efficiently.
Chamlian prides itself with its Science Program. It holds a stellar track record at the annual County and State Science Fairs. The school also participates in the annual AESA Science Olympiad where it has received several top prizes, including the Award of Excellence in the field of Science.
“Our school is well known in different Science venues and competitions, and these renovations will allow us to maintain our high standards while using more advanced technology,” states Mrs. Lida Gevorkian, Chamlian Armenian School’s Science Department Chair. She adds, “Our new equipment will help facilitate the achievement of our educational goals.”
