YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–The presentation of the contest for composers announced by the American Group Quest producer center was held in Yerevan last week.
It was announced that the jury will consist of nine members–two of them from Armenia–and the remainder representing the United States and Europe. The winner of the contest will receive $1,000; 2nd place $500–and third place $300. The results of the contest will be announced in September.
The sponsors of the contest say they will be working with the motto "to be the best on international stages–or not to be there at all."
