MOSCOW (Eurasianet)–An informal meeting of foreign ministers from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in Moscow on March 25.
The foreign ministers of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expected to attend. Foreign policy coordination, Kazakhstan’s presidency of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, cooperation with the United Nations, and Afghanistan will be on the agenda, Russian media outlets reported on March 23.
An informal summit of heads of states from CSTO countries will also take place in Moscow on May 8. Both events will serve to prepare the ground for the next formal CSTO summit to be held in June.
