ODETTE (EDITH) GARABEDIAN

Edith Garabedian, beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, and relative, passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2024 in the presence of her loving family.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Hills (White Church) in Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn Memorial Park, located at 6300 Forest Lawn Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90068.
She is survived by her:
Son, Armand and Aida Garabedian and son, Christopher
Daughter, Sandra and Arthur Grigorian
Granddaughter, Evana and Ara Stepanian
Grandson, Ivan and Arpi Grigorian
And all relatives and friends.
Memorial lunch will follow at Impressions Banquet Hall, located at 212 N. Orange St., Glendale, CA 91203.
Edith Garabedian was born to Khachatour and Armenohi Karapetian. She was an accomplished pianist and musician having graduated from the Tehran Music Conservatory and the Academy of Fine Arts. She married Joseph Garabedian on October 4, 1959 and they were happily married for 50 years, until his passing in December of 2009. She spent the rest of her days with her loving family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, Saint Leon Armenian Cathedral, Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital.
