YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Minister of Defense Vazgen Sargssian met Tuesday with British Ambassador to Armenia Dr. John Mitchiner in connection with the accreditation of a new military attach to Armenia–Colonel Christopher Lengton (residence in Moscow).
The ambassador was accompanied by the assistant military attach–captain third rank–David Fields and Senior Official of the British Office of Defense–Lieutenant-Colonel David Tong.
The sides discussed the issues of the development of military cooperation between the two countries–in particular–British assistance in teaching the officers of the Armenian Army and the students of the Military Institute the English language. The sides also addressed the issues related to other spheres of cooperation.
