YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–On August 17–the dollar price in Yerevan fell down to the value of 540 drams and even below at 539 drams at some exchange points. The fall is the continuation of the dollar depreciation process that began last week. Early last week $1 cost 543 drams. Thus–the dram returned to the mark of late April. In the second half of May the dollar rate soared up to the mark of 551 drams–after which it slowly decreased.
