YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Ambassador of the European Union to Armenia Denis Corboy handed his credentials to Levon Ter-Petrosyan Monday.
During the meeting–Ter-Petrosyan noted that the accreditation of the EU Ambassador to Armenia was an important event for Armenia. He voiced hope that this event would promote the relations between Armenia and the European Union–giving them a practical nature–as well as a means to contribute to Armenia’s integration into European structures.
Expressing his content with the present state of relations between Armenia and the EU–Ter-Petrosyan stressed EU’s role in settling regional conflicts.
