YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–At a Wednesday news conference–Armenia’s Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian confirmed rumors that ministry official Misha Manoyan left Armenia without notification. The latter was chief of the Secretariat and had been relieved of his post before the foreign minister left for the United States.
Oskanian learned about the incident during his visit to the US. He reported that Manoyan’s whereabouts are unknown as of yet. According to the Oskanian–the ministry should take this as a reason to be more cautious in appointing ministry personnel.
