Georgian, Turkish and Azerbaijani foreign ministers signed a new 2020-2022 action plan for regional cooperation during the eighth meeting of the trilateral format held in Tbilisi Monday.
The ceremony took place at the Palace of Rituals in Tbilisi, after which the foreign ministers of the three countries made joint statements.
According to Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, at the 8th trilateral meeting he, Azerbaijan’s Elmar Mammdyarov and Turkey’s Mevlut Cavusoglu discussed trilateral format of the action plan for 2020-2022, which focused on regional, transportation and energy projects.
The importance of the implementation of the Trans-Caspian pipeline project and the role of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey in transporting energy from the Caspian region to Europe and in ensuring the energy security of Europe were discussed, with special emphasis on Baku-Tbilisi- Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum energy projects.
“We agreed that the completion of the second phase of the Trans Anatolian Pipeline was very important which was inaugurated on November 30 in Turkey. The implementation of the project supports the creation of a new energy reality for Europe,” Zalkaliani stated.
The Tbilisi-Baku-Ankara cooperation officially kicked off in 2012.
In a statement issued following Monday’s meeting, the three foreign ministers expressed satisfaction with the growing bilateral and trilateral cooperation. The Foreign Ministers expressed strong support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and internationally recognized borders of all three countries. It was emphasized that regional conflicts strike at peace, security, stability and economic development, the status quo is unacceptable and short-lived, and also requires an early settlement by peaceful means. The parties once again emphasized the importance of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali in Georgia, as well as in Nagorno-Karabakh and the adjacent regions of Azerbaijan, in accordance with the principles and norms of international law,, in particular, on the basis of the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of internationally recognized state borders, as well as relevant resolutions and resolutions of the UN, OSCE and Council of Europe.
The parties also noted the need for safe return of refugees and internally displaced persons. The Foreign Ministers reiterated the importance of trilateral cooperation in the defense sector that include tripartite military exercises.

These Georgians can never be trusted. They have sold their souls to criminal Turks and pseudo-Turkish Azerbaijanis for petrodollars. Georgians are asleep while the Turks and their Azerbaijani criminal collaborators are busy Turkifying their territories. The recent feud between the two over border monastery is an example of this. The tricky Turks, slowly but surely, are accomplishing the demographical changes they set out to do along Georgian border towns and most likely to create another front against Armenia. They are doing this through enticing the Georgians with financial gains by running oil and energy pipelines through Georgian territory.
The borders between Armenia and these three countries, genocidal Turkey, artificial Azerbaijan and pseudo-Christian Georgia, were all artificially drawn and have no validity. Many fraudulent treaties formed that snatched territory away from Armenia were signed between terrorist rebel Turks and criminal Soviets at a time when neither the republic of Turkey nor the Soviet Union was internationally recognized as a legitimate state thus making them invalid. For example, the treaty of Moscow (now called the treaty of Kars) was signed in 1921 between these two criminal entities to further fragment Armenia but the two actually did not become internationally recognized until 1922 and 1923.
As it is already well-known, the so-called Azerbaijan republic was artificially invented on occupied Armenian lands in 1918 at the end of WWI for the homeless Caucasian Muslim Tatars (Turkified Mongols) and renamed to Azerbaijan in 1936. This artificial state never existed in the history of the region and was carved out of occupied Armenian homeland as a Turkish outpost in the South Caucasus to pursue pan-Turkic agenda, post 1915 Armenian Genocide, and as a base for Soviet expansion into Persia and the Middle East. The ancient Armenian provinces of Nakh-Ijevan (in Armenian meaning the Original/Last Resting Place of Noah) and Artsakh, formerly and falsely called “karabakh”, were taken away from Armenia and handed over to this newly-invented artificial Azerbaijani state, a gas station disguised a country, to hold majority Armenian population hostage to Turkish and pseudo-Turkish enemies.
Armenia being in that region: surrounded by these unfriendly three countries surely will have tough times: present and future.
Armenia being in that region is entitled to share to that region’s resources like: Having access to Gaspian and Black Seas.
Nobody on earth can confine Armenia in this present location: surrounded by land of unfriendly neighbors: No outlet.
