GLENDALE—The Armenian culture has found expression in architecture, painting, and sculpture. With a history of nearly five thousand years, Armenian Art has always had a special place in the development of the nation’s culture and traditions.
Hamazkayin is a medium through which Armenian cultural traditions are protected, maintained, and kept alive through the generations. Art makes up a large part of this culture, and is one of its strongest components. With this in mind, the Hamazkayin Western Region and “Hovik’s Fine Arts” in conjunction with Asbarez Daily Newspaper, have organized an art exhibition where the works of 47 Armenian artists will be on display, representing three generations of artistic talent.
Opening night will be Friday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m., and the exhibit will be available for viewing through Nov. 16 at the Hamazkayin Exhibition Hall, located at 407 East Colorado Street, Glendale, California. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase artwork. All those who appreciate art and the Armenian culture are invited to join us in this event. With your presence, we can encourage these talented Armenian artists and their continued creativity.
