
The Glendale Unified School District is set to host its second annual Armenian-American Heritage Month celebration. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hoover High School, located at 651 Glenwood Rd. Glendale, CA 91202. Campus doors will open at 9:45 a.m.
Join GUSD for student performances, along with panel discussions, speakers, and presentations from notable and talented Armenian-Americans whose inspirational stories, hard work, and perseverance have gotten them to where they are today.
Notable guests at the event include GUSD Board of Education Members Shant Sahakian, Ingrid Gunnell, Kathleen Cross, Neda Farid, and Telly Tse; GUSD Superintendent Dr. Darneika Watson; and Filmmaker and Broadcast Journalist Ani Hovannisian Kevorkian.
Glendale Unified is the third largest school district in Los Angeles County, proudly serving over 25,000 students in preschool through 12th grade and beyond.
