Armenia-Diaspora relations and the importance of continuing and strengthening the cooperation between them, as well as Homentmen’s role and contribution in regard to this matter were all on the agenda for discussion. Also discussed was the work of the National Committee on the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The meeting lasted for over an hour.
Homentmen’s Central Committee head presented President Sarkisian with the status of the Homentmen-HASK camp located in Puragan and the plans related to its improvement and expansion. President Sarkisian demonstrated a positive approach towards these plans, considering them as constructive and important. He also expressed his willingness to support them at the state level.
This meeting was also an opportunity to for chairman Megerditchian to update the president on Homentmen’s various worldwide activities.
