YEREVAN (Yerevan)–ARF Bureau member and Parliament Vice-Speaker Vahan Hovhanissian commented Saturday on recent statemen’s made by Azeri President Ilham Aliyev about resolving the Karabagh conflict by military force.
"The Azeri president says he will use oil revenues to increase the country’s budget and enlarge the army and threatens to resume the war," Hovhannisian said. "But even in the 90’s–Azerbaijan’s budget was larger than ours and Karabagh defeated Azerbaijan."
Hovhanissian added that Karabagh can never be a part of Azerbaijan.
