YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–Joint Armenian-Russian military exercises will be held in the firing grounds of Armavir–Armenia–the chief of operative management of the Russian Military Force stationed in Armenia Alexander Tretyakov told Noyan Tapan. He added that exercises will be conducted in accordance with a plan of tactical military training.
According to Tretyakov–relevant military subdivisions and equipment have already been deployed in Armavir. He also announced that Armenia’s President Robert Kocharian will visit the firing grounds during the exercises–however–he couldn’t specify the date when Kocharian is due in Armavir as the latter is also scheduled to travel to the United States soon.
