YEREVAN (Noyan Tapan)–President Robert Kocharian met with the outgoing Ambassador of the Chinese People’s Republic to Armenia Yang Kerung Tuesday.
The ambassador reportedly pointed out in his parting words that Armeno-Chinese relations have made big progress in all spheres over the past several years.
Thanking Armenian authorities for the assistance and good attitude throughout his diplomatic mission in Armenia–Kerung voiced confidence that relations between the two countries would keep growing even stronger in the future.
Kocharian wished success upon the outgoing Chinese ambassador in his future activities and said that there is a strong basis for expanding mutually advantageous ties which offer new prospects for cooperation.
