DORTMUND, German (Armenpress)—Armenian national and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been voted by fans as the best player of the German Cup semi-final match between Dortmund and Bayern Munich. The official website of the German Cup, the DFB-Pokal, conducted an online survey, in which Henrikh Mkhitaryan garnered first place.
“You have decided. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is your cup hero of the semi-final,” the website said. “Thus, he now enters as a candidate for cup hero of the 2014/15 season.”
The DFB-Pokal final will take place on May 30 between Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.
