The ARF "Houshamadian" Album-Atlas II-Koyamard has been in publication and will be presented and made available to the public at a special even to be held at Ferrahian Armenian School’s Avedissian Hall on June 8 at 8:00 p.m.
Hagop Manjikian–the book’s editor–said the Houshamadian is a summary of the history of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation from 1914-1925–with 258 pages and over 600 pictures and 26 maps.
"This book encompasses many important events that our young generation should read and learn about. Events such as the Armenian Gamavorakan (volunteer) movement and its participation in the Russo-Turkish War–the Genocide–the Van Herosamard–events and battles that led to the establishment of the Republic of Armenia in 1918–the Armenian Nemesis (Operation Nemesis)–the Karabakh and Zankezour Liberation battles and others–that if read by the new generation–will enlighten them of their past and inform them of the sacrifices the older generation endured for their love of the homeland," said Manjikian
The community is being welcomed to attend the book’s premiere event at Ferrahian School on Friday evening.
