MONTREAL—The prelates of the Eastern and Western Prelacies of the United States, Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan and Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, held consecutive meetings with Canadian Prelate Archbishop Khajag Hagopian on August 19 and 20.
During the meetings, the prelates planned projects related to the spiritual, administrative, financial, and organizational aspects of the prelacies. They also prepared reports on all of the churches of the North American prelacies, with regards to the different communities and services each church offers, from meeting the spiritual needs of its members to Christian education.
The prelates also discussed common worries and issues, as well as new methods of improving communication and dialogue between the Prelacies.
The issues and projects outlined during these sessions will be further examined during the next World Assembly Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia in Antelias, Lebanon, in November of this year.
