GLENDALE–The newly-appointed US Ambassador to Armenia John Ordway visited the offices of Asbarez newspaper and Horizon Television Monday–during a tour of the community. He was accompanied by Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region board member Rafi Hamparian and ANCA-WR Executive Director Alex Sardar.
During his visit–Ordway met with editorial board and staff of the newspaper and received a tour of the newspaper offices and Horizon Television studios.
Ordway said he was happy to see such a professionally-functioning facility and expressed hope that he can count on the newspaper and television station to work with the US Embassy in Armenia in disseminating important information to the community.
