PASADENA, Calif.—On Saturday, July 26, the ANCA Pasadena Chapter hosted a Dinner Comedy Night at the Armenian Center on Foothill Blvd with Krikor Satamian performing the stage monologue. The attendees at the sold-out show thoroughly enjoyed the event. Satamian, well known for his stage acting and comedy monologues, entertained a crowd whose anticipation for a great evening was met and surpassed.

ANCA, Pasadena Chapter Chairperson, Shoghig Yepremian, welcomed the evening’s guests and conveyed the chapter’s message. Yepremian went on to introduce Ara Dabanjian and Element band, whose beautiful music preceded the main show. ANCA chapter board members, Vahe Majarian and Garin Kevoian, whose ceaseless hard work was the reason the event was such a great success, were also introduced. Subsequent to Yepremian’s message, board Vice-Chair and Treasurer, Vahe Majarian, introduced a man who didn’t need an introduction, the star of the show, Krikor Satamian, a well-known actor and performer who’s performed countless times in the Armenian American Community as well as abroad where Armenian communities thrive, and who has the kind of popularity and attraction where crowds gladly assemble to attend one of his performances. Needless to say, it’s a great indictment of Satamian’s respectability through his achievements in the community. Guests who were present included the Pasadena Armenian Cultural Foundation, Saint Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church, Armenian Relief Society, Homenetmen Azadamard Chapter, Pasadena Hamazkayin Chapter, and members of the Armenian American Community.
Satamian’s performance ended on a high note as the gracious attendees gave him a standing ovation for a fantastic night.
